You definitely want to know about this mod. It's one of the best, if not the very best for the price.

To get a mod that performs better than the RX200, you'll have to really pay up. I'm talking about paying for a DNA chipset. If you have a vaping budget like that, then a DNA 200 mod would be a better purchase for you. But if you don't have a big budget for vaping, this mod is one I strongly think you should consider.

As you already know, we like this mod. Theres a lot to like about it given its performance and it's price. At $48.95, you're getting your money's worth several times over. To get a mod that performs similarly to this one, you'd have to pay over a hundred dollars.

Main Features

Since this mod can vape at 200W, most people will assume that it's variable wattage. Well, you'd be right. I still have to mention it because some people are new to vaping and it would benefit them to be as clear and detailed as possible. The Wismec Reuleaux RX200 can vape anywhere in the range of 1W to 200W. This is a sweet range, as anything over 200W would be riskier for your health in my opinion. See this passionate rant on SMOK's 350W mod if you want to know my opinion on super high wattage devices.

When you are in variable wattage mode, you can use coils that range from 0.1 to 3.5 ohms. Temperature control mode, as with most mods, supports a different resistance range.

I guess it's time to talk about temperature control mode since I just mentioned it. In TC mode, your coils can range from 0.05 to 1.0 ohm. That range is much different than the variable wattage range, so be aware of that. In temp mode, you can use titanium, Ni200 (nickel), or stainless steel 316 coils.

The RX200s also has upgradeable firmware. You'll be able to buy this mod with peace of mind, knowing that any possible kinks will be worked out with upgrades.

The chip in the RX200 & 200s is a house-made chipset. That means Wismec used their own ingenuity, and maybe leaned on another company, to create this masterpiece. This is one of the better house-made chipsets on the market. Seriously, it's not just hype. This chip vapes really similarly to a DNA 200.

The consistent output feels just like the real deal. Some of my other mods seem to have more variance in the output. I really can appreciate the consistency that this mod fires with. When you push the fire button, there will be no surprises. You'll get the same draw every time.

Battery Life

Another thing Wismec's proprietary chip excels at is efficiency. Not to mention the three 18650 batteries help this mod to go a long time on one charge If you usually vape at lower wattages like me, this mod will last all day on one charge.

I don't vape all the way up at 200W often. When I do, it's usually to play around with a super sub ohm tank or something of that nature. It can be fun, but I enjoy vaping at 25W to 75W a lot more. Around those wattages, the battery life is ridiculous. It's still good at higher wattages, but of course, it won't last nearly as long.

Differences Between the RX200 and RX200s

There are two main differences between the RX200 and the RX200s. The first one is super obvious. It's the screen. The RX200 has a tiny screen. It's just 0.69 inches! I'm not sure why they wanted to use such a tiny screen, but it seems like they regretted it. They put a 0.96 inch screen on the RX200s.

The 0.96 inch screen is beautiful and uses the vertical stack layout. The information is arranged nicely, making it easy to see and navigate. The 0.69 inch screen will have you squinting and fumbling through the settings. But for the cheap price tag, it's still worth it.

The other main difference is the chipset. Both of the chips are proprietary, 200W chips, but the RX200s performs much smoother and consistently. I believe they did a big upgrade to the chipset. From the look of the mod, you'll think the screen is the only change. But don't let the similar look fool you. The RX200s chip is much better than it's predecessor.

Other than those two differences, these mods are largely the same.

wismec-rx200s-box-modWe love both, the RX200 and the RX200s, but the RX200s takes the cake. If for some reason the RX200 is the only one available to you, then it's still a solid purchase. But the RX200s is the one you really want. It performs way above its class.

We recommend this mod, even for low wattage vapers, because of the versatility and the amazing chipset. You'll get a more enjoyable vapor production with the smooth consistency of this DNA-like chip. Not to mention the price is just as affordable as a decent 80W mod but it vapes way better.
